Diana’s Heart - Adopt A Family Program

Each year, we will select two schools (one school in CA and one in AZ) and 10 families in the Philippines impacted by severe hardship and homelessness to bless for the year. These families will feed into our one-year Adopt a Family program.

 

Adopt-A-Family Program:

 

The one-year program is designed to assist families in need by reducing the financial burden and helping them to get on their feet and improve financial literacy. All families that participate must be enrolled in Hope in Heart’s financial literacy program as a condition of the terms of Adopt a Family program.    Hope in Hearts goal is to provide assistance in monetary and in-kind donations in the amount of  $1200-$1500/mo. in the US and $300-$500/mo. in the Philippines to families to assist with household expenses. Gift cards or direct payments to creditors will be provided to assist families in the following five areas (up to $300 per area – U.S.):

Along with the literacy skills, each family will also be provided with life skills training, family and individual counseling with licensed professionals, and case management to help with day-to-day skills and an exit plan. With the help of our partners each year during our annual gala event, we are awarded with the opportunity to transform the lives of many families by adopting families in need each year.

ONE HEART ADOPT A FAMILY PH – LAUNCHING
February 15, 2021

 

One Heart – Adopt a Family is one of our signature programs. This program provides support to those who genuinely need it due to their status and financial restraints. Bringing hope to families across the globe, this February 15, 2021, we launched One Heart Adopt a Family in Cebu, Philippines. Officially started adopting with 4 families.

 

The program started with prayer, welcoming, and introducing each of the families, meeting the founder and her husband Tikesha and Christopher McNulty via live video call. Ending the program with releasing of balloons tying their letters of hope and prayers.

 

These families received groceries, a journal, and a bible to read and guide them through their daily lives. Also, the highlight of that day was the welcome letter from WLCC (Worship Life Christian Church) Founder and Pastor Stanly and Joyce Jay written on the first page of the bible.

 

Everyone went home with smiles and hopes in their hearts.

ONE HEART ADOPT A FAMILY PH – MONTHLY DISTRIBUTION
April – November 2021

 

Starting from 4 families, now we have 10 families who are blessed to receive groceries from the One Heart – Adopt a family program. This 12-month program will assist them to cope with their living and basic needs.

 

During the gathering and distribution families were able to have a sharing time from the Bible reading and to connect to each family’s life updates – sharing pieces of advice and empowering each other on how to overcome situations.

 

The groceries they received included 15 – 25 kilos of rice, 1 tray (30 pcs) of egg, canned goods, packs of noodles, bread, milk, coffee, laundry and bath soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc.

 

For $25 a month you can help support a family in the Philippines to have food on their table.
This causes a huge impact on the lives of each member of the family.
