Hope to Hire Employment & Job Placement Program

Hope to Hire is a dedicated program that supports at-risk populations, including unhoused individuals, survivors of domestic violence and sex trafficking, emancipated foster youth, and re-entry/released persons. Our primary goal is to empower these individuals by providing essential life skills, job skills, and life coaching, enabling them to secure permanent employment and lead prosperous lives. By collaborating with local businesses, shelters, foster care systems, city and county agencies, and employment agencies, we leverage their expertise and resources to ensure holistic development for our program participants.

Through the Hope to Hire program, we offer a comprehensive range of services, including pre and post-assessments, assistance with resume writing and interview skills, provision of professional clothing, and access to life coaching and advocacy. We engage our participants in activities like dream/vision boarding and goal setting to encourage them to envision and work towards a brighter future.

Recognizing the importance of resources, we provide essential support such as clothing, empowerment materials, and ongoing life coaching to address the immediate and long-term needs of individuals striving to overcome their circumstances. We also actively collaborate with the City and County Mayor’s offices to advocate for incentives that encourage businesses to hire qualified at-risk populations at positions above minimum wage, breaking the cycle of poverty and strengthening the community.

To facilitate employment opportunities, we maintain a comprehensive list-serve database categorized by industry, connecting job seekers with businesses willing to work with at-risk populations. We ensure a seamless transition from pre-hire to hire and provide ongoing support throughout the employment journey.
